The University of Ferrara is one of the oldest in Italy.

It was founded in 1391 by Alberto V, Marquis of Este, and granted by Pope Boniface IX. The earliest courses were in the arts, theology and law and from the very beginning it attracted well-known teachers. There are currently eight faculties and Engineering is one of the youngest.

It was initiated in the early 1990’s and is located in the new Technical and Scientific Centre of Ferrara University: it  offers the perfect study environment and the chances of employment after graduation are particularly high for all its courses.

ACCADUEO is the International Exhibition of technologies for the treatment and distribution of drinking water and wastewater treatment, which in 2012 will present its 11th edition.

Over time, the show has gradually achieved international status to the point of now being among the main international events in the sector owing to:

  • the importance of the subjects discussed within the conference programme
  • the significance and prestige of the businesses attending both as exhibitors and visitors
  • the completeness of the exhibit offer that focuses entirely on the sectors represented at the show.

Edition after edition, ACCADUEO has increasingly become a time for exhibiting businesses to meet with public and private entrepreneurship with growing attention for technological innovation, which this year will feature a dedicated project. The show will offer a calendar full of conferences and technical seminars hosting international speakers, thus making it an opportunity for comparison and expert updating for business operators.

ACCADUEO will give the opportunity to exhibitors to fix an agenda of meetings with buyers coming from Turkey, Syria, Israel, Jordan, Morocco and Algeria in order to establish business contacts and increase their international connotation.
